Wherever you are today
Facing anxiety and worry
Anxiety is not a sign of weak faith. It is a human nervous system doing its job too well.
Plenty of faithful people live with worry that does not switch off. Being told to “just pray about it” when your chest is tight is not help, and we will not say it to you.
Prayer matters. So does sleep, a doctor, a counsellor, and people who will notice when you go quiet. God works through all of it.
If money is what stands between you and getting help, tell the office. That is a conversation worth having.
What tends to help
Name it to one person
Secrecy makes anxiety heavier. One trusted person changes the weight.
Keep the rhythms
Worship, rest, meals with people. Rhythm steadies what willpower cannot.
Get professional help
We can point you toward counsellors in Mobile. Faith and therapy are not rivals.
One next step
Send a prayer request, or ask who you could talk to this week.
