Wherever you are today
Walking through grief
Grief is not a problem to be solved. It is love with nowhere to go, and it takes as long as it takes.
There is no schedule for this. Some days you function; some days you do not. Neither one means you are doing it wrong, and neither one means you have lost your faith.
The Psalms are full of people saying hard things to God — how long, why, where are you. That language is in scripture because grief belongs in the room with God, not outside the door.
What we can offer is small and real: someone to sit with you, prayer that names your person out loud, and a congregation that will still remember them next year.
What tends to help
Say the name
You are allowed to talk about them here. We would rather hear the name than tiptoe around it.
Let someone carry a task
Meals, a ride, a phone call to make on your behalf. Ask the office and we will arrange it.
Come as you are
Sit in the back, cry through the hymns, leave early. That is worship too.
One next step
Send us a note and ask for the pastor. You do not need the right words first.

You are not alone in this
Sunday worship is at 10:00 AM, and someone reads every message during the week. Either door is open.
