The handful of things worth saying out loud about what this site is, what it is not, and what we ask of you while you are here.

This website belongs to Toulminville-Warren Street United Methodist Church, 2271 Saint Stephens Road, Mobile, AL 36617. Using it means you accept what is written here. It is short on purpose.
You are welcome here
Read anything, share a link, print a page for someone who is not online. None of that needs our permission.
What we ask you not to do:
- Use the forms to send advertising, or anything abusive or threatening.
- Try to get into any part of the site that is not open to visitors.
- Use anything here to harass, impersonate, or mislead another person.
- Republish this site’s photographs or writing somewhere else without asking first.
What is on these pages
We keep this site as accurate as we can, and church life still moves. Service times, events, rooms, and the people named on a page all change. If a detail matters — a time you are driving out for, a room you are meeting in — send us a note and we will confirm it before you go.
This site is not professional advice
The pages under Find Help are written by a church and offer what a church has: encouragement, company, and a next step. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and reading them is not the same as being in someone’s care.
If you are in danger, or thinking of harming yourself, do not wait on a form. Call 911. Or call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Both are answered around the clock, every day.
The forms
What you send through a form is handled the way the privacy policy describes. We read everything that comes in and answer as soon as we can — but the office is not staffed around the clock, and a form is not the way to reach anyone urgently.
Send us only what is true and only what is yours to send. Do not submit someone else’s details on their behalf without their say-so.
Giving
Gifts made through the giving buttons are processed by PushPay or PayPal under their own terms, on their own sites. A gift to the church is a donation and not a purchase, so it is not generally refundable — but if something went wrong with a gift, tell us and we will put it right.
Giving statements for tax purposes come from the church office, not from this website.
Photographs and writing
The writing, photographs, and design of this site belong to the church or are used here with permission. Members of this congregation, including children, are recognizable in many of the photographs, which is why we ask about them specifically: please do not lift them onto another website, into a flyer, or into anything sold for money.
Ask us. For a neighbor, a school project, or another congregation, the answer is usually yes.
Links away from here
Some links leave this site. We choose them because they are useful, and we do not run them and cannot answer for what is on the other end.
The site itself
We keep this site running as well as we are able. We cannot promise it will always be available or always be free of mistakes, and the church is not liable for any loss arising out of using it. Nothing on this page takes away a right you have that cannot be taken away by law.
If this page changes
The date at the top changes with it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.
